Looking for some great accommodation for large groups closeby? Then regularly have a look at this blog article. We like going on a weekend with friends or family. Being with 6 of us already, we are always looking for some spacious accommodation. Preferably also with some extras such as a sauna, a billiards or a pleasant terrace. We like the places in this blog a lot. Will be updated along the way.

#1 Villa ‘Dolce Vita (De Panne, Belgian Coast)

We stayed in the beautiful characterful villa ‘Dolce Vita’, a spacious house in the famous Dumont district only 300 metres from the beach and close to local shops and the centre of De Panne.

We rented this great villa through Westkustvilla’s, a professional and friendly agency that rents a lot of similar, high quality housing.

This villa offers facilities for 14 persons. It has a large living room with a comfortable sitting area and dining table for 14 people, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the mezzanine floor you find two bedrooms: one with a double bed, baby bed and bathroom, the next one with 2 bunk beds. On the first floor there are 3 more bedrooms with double beds of which 1 also has a bunk bed. There is also a second bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub and double washbasin.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Two bedrooms even have a wooden baby cot and there are Ikea baby chairs in the living room. There are also toilets on each of the floors.

And as bonus: a table tennis, billiards and even a Finnish or infrared sauna. Perfect for a holiday with teenagers. Our children enjoyed it a lot !

#2 Villa Pauline (De Panne, Belgian coast)

Another great place to stay in De Panne, also rented through Westkustvilla’s. Yes, we are fan.

This villa offers facilities for 12 persons. It has a large living room with a comfortable sitting area. There is a dining table for 12, a fully equipped kitchen and 4 big bedrooms, divided over 2 floors. On top, there is a ‘hang out’ room for teenagers, beanbags and a television screen included. Add 2 bathrooms and a garden with BBQ facilities and garden furniture, and you have the excellent place to stay.

We enjoyed this place very much. It’s an ideal staring point to explore De Panne: close to the beach, the center of De Panne‘s and in the middle of the great Dumont district. On top, you can walk to the starting point of one of De Panne’s excellent hikes, the Belgian Sahara.

#3 Beach villa Noordzee Résidence De Banjaard (Zeeland, the Netherlands)

In Zeeland, we stayed in a beach villa in Noordzee Residence De Banjaard, Strandlaan 19, Kamperland. We rented the house via Micazu but you can also go directly via Zeelandhuisaanzee.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and modern, up to 8-12 persons. A real plus were

• beds made up and a towel package (2 towels per person), what a luxury!
• tea towels, starter package including Senseo pads and some washing up cubes
• well-equipped kitchen with more than enough cutlery, plates and glasses and decent kitchen equipment, even a fine peeler
• large garden with garden table, barbecue and fireplace
• very spacious bright living room and dining table
• modern furnished and large bedrooms
• a well-functioning WiFi
• a sauna
• in the immediate vicinity of the reception, a small swimming pool and shop (with fresh bread on Saturdays)
